Walking safari, Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary + Murchison Falls National Park
8:00am Rhino Walk guided by a ranger specialist - we observe white rhinos in their morning activities and leave them when they start to rest in the shade. A truly breathtaking encounter with these large grass eaters awaits us.
Then you continue to Murchison NP. First to the Top of Falls viewpoint. There is a picnic lunch fruits and snacks, which your guide organised on the way - the first game drive follows in the afternoon.
TRAVEL TIME FOR THE TRANSFER APPROX. 2.5 hours
After arrival an optional guided walk to the Top of the World crater lakes via a community. According on the available time and conditions this can be done partly by car as well. (incl. in package price)
OPTION : you can start the day as well with a second boat safari to the Nile Delta at Lake Albert (50$ pp) or a short game drive instead if the Afternoon walking and community activity.
Day 7
Bigodi Wetland hike in the morning - beautiful birds, rare monkeys, explanations about plants and their uses.
Afterwards there is a local lunch at Tinka's with explanations about Ugandan food and traditions.
The optional chimpanzee tracking (250$) starts at 2pm - the best option to visit them is the afternoon. In the morning they are mostly feeding up in the trees.
Alternatively, a community activity can be offered.
